Store Department

Store Department headed by Store Keeper plays the role of centralized inventory under the supervision of Executive Officer. This department is responsible to receive & issue all items procured by the municipality. The major activities of Store Department are as follows -

Receive all items procured by the Municipality through purchase order.
Issuing of Stock entry certificate.
Issues item to different departments as per their requisite requisition.
Maintaining central stock & stock entry or issue related registers of the municipality.
Tally physical and computerized stock on regular basis in presence of Executive Officer.

Information Technology

Information Technology Department headed by I.T. Co-ordinator, is one of the key department of the Municipality. I.T. Department provides all kind of technological supports to all other departments of Municipality. The main services provide by I.T. Department are as follows -

Conduct I.T. related trainings like basic computer training, citizen service oriented softwares related hand holding trainings, Advance computer training etc. among staffs and councilors of Dankuni Municipality.
Provide running software related hand holding supports to all other departments of Municipality.

Receiving & Despatch Department

Receiving and Despatch section mainly deals with incoming letter docketing, out going letters Memo, e-mail received by the Municipality, Department wise distribution of incoming letters etc. under the supervision of Executive officer of this Municipality.
